Where Every Disney Cruise Ship Will Sail in Fall 2027 and Spring 2028
Disney Cruise Line has announced where eight of its ships will sail in fall 2027 and spring 2028. The new itineraries include the Disney Wish’s first sailing from New York, the Disney Destiny’s first season in Port Canaveral, and the Disney Fantasy’s first sailings to Bermuda. Oh, and the Disney Adventure will finally visit a non-home port.
Here’s the complete list of firsts:
- Disney Cruise Line returning to New York after almost four years
- The Disney Wish sailing from New York for the first time
- The Disney Destiny home porting in Port Canaveral for the first time
- The Disney Fantasy sailing to Bermuda for the first time
- The Disney Magic making maiden calls at Fuerte Amador and Colon, Panama
- The Disney Adventure will visit Langkawi, Malaysia
- Two ships – the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder – sailing from San Diego in fall 2027
- Select cruises from Galveston visiting both Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay
- Several itineraries featuring two visits to Disney Castaway Cay
As usual, Halloween on the High Seas cruises will begin in September 2027, while Very Merrytime itineraries are in November and December.
Disney Adventure
The Disney Adventure will continue sailing from Singapore, offering new three- and four-night cruises from September through December 2027. For the first time, it will visit Langkawi, Malaysia on select sailings.
Disney Destiny
The Disney Destiny will begin the season in Fort Lauderdale with three- to five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. The ship will then home port in Port Canaveral for the first time, offering three- to seven-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean.
Disney Dream
The Disney Dream will begin the season in Port Canaveral with three- and four-night cruises to The Bahamas. In November 2027, the ship will reposition to Fort Lauderdale for three- to five-night Bahamian cruises. One six-night sailing will visit Castaway Cay twice.
Disney Fantasy
The Disney Fantasy will sail from Port Canaveral from September through November 2027, offering four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean.
The ship will also sail from Fort Lauderdale on four- to seven-night cruises to The Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean. An eight-night itinerary will mark the Fantasy’s first cruise to Bermuda and include stops at Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
The Fantasy will also sail to the Southern and Eastern Caribbean from San Juan.
Disney Magic
The Magic will begin the season in San Diego with three- to seven-night cruises to Baja and the Mexican Riviera.
The ship will then make a 14-night eastbound Panama Canal cruise featuring its maiden call at Fuerte Amador, near Panama City. After arriving in Texas, the Disney Magic will offer four- to seven-night cruises from Galveston, Texas.
Select seven-night Bahamian cruises from Galveston will visit both Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay. I can’t tell you how long we’ve been waiting for that itinerary.
In spring 2028, the Magic will return to California on a westbound Panama Canal cruise featuring the ship’s maiden call at Colon, Panama.
Disney Treasure
The Disney Treasure will continue sailing from Port Canaveral, offering seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises. The schedule also includes an eight-night Eastern Caribbean cruise and a six-night Bahamian cruise that visits Castaway Cay twice.
Disney Wish
Following its inaugural European season, the Disney Wish will sail from New York for the first time. We’ve already covered these sailings in detail.
The Wish will then offer Southern and Eastern Caribbean cruises from San Juan before returning to Port Canaveral for three- and four-night Bahamian cruises.
Disney Wonder
The Disney Wonder will remain in San Diego throughout fall 2027 and spring 2028. Our favorite ship will offer three- to seven-night cruises visiting Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and Catalina Island, California.
Early booking begins August 31 for select Castaway Club members. General bookings open September 8.
