Walt Disney World Introduces “After 2 PM” Ticket for Summer 2026

Are you a fan of rope dropping? Do you live for sunrises over Cinderella Castle? Then this one probably isn’t for you. Walt Disney World’s latest offer, an “After 2 PM” ticket, is aimed at a different crowd: late risers, midday pool loungers, and park closers.

This early summer deal runs from May 26 through July 29, 2026, and is available as 2- or 3-day tickets. They don’t have to be used on consecutive days, but there is a time limit. The 2-day ticket must be used within four days, and the 3-day within five.

There’s no need for theme park reservations with this offer. Unfortunately, park hopping is not allowed.

Disney World’s After 2 PM ticket prices

The discounts are modest. 2-day tickets start at $118 per day, while 3-day tickets come in slightly lower at $116 per day. The week leading up to July 4 is the most expensive, with prices hitting $158 and $154, respectively. Independence Day always brings the crowds, but 2026’s holiday has extra significance. It’s America’s 250th birthday, and Walt Disney World is leaning into the moment.

Things settle down immediately after the holiday, with most of July averaging about $120 per day.

I compared the “After 2 PM” offer to nondiscounted tickets, and the savings might not move the needle for most guests. A 2-day ticket with a July 3 start day comes out to $336.34, compared to $372.72 for a standard ticket. That’s roughly $18 per day in exchange for giving up as much as six hours in the parks.

If you were never planning to show up before mid-afternoon, that trade might make sense. If you were, this is essentially paying almost full price to skip some of the most valuable hours of the day.
