Video Tours Available for Polynesian Tower Rooms
Disney Travel Professionals has released video tours of several of the rooms coming to the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Resort. Unlike the concept art and mockup rooms we’ve already seen, these videos showcase the actual Villas opening on Tuesday. I love what I’m seeing, from the decor to the new layouts to the USB-A / USB-C combo ports.
Duo Studio
Polynesian Tower Duo Studios can only accommodate two guests, but they feel spacious. I’d love to stay in one of these rooms to save on points while still enjoying the Poly.
Deluxe Studio
The new studio layout, first introduced with the Disneyland Villas, brings the kitchenette into the main living area. The Murphy and queen beds have swapped places, as well. The bench seat and small breakfast table are a nice touch. The Poly Island Tower studio sleeps four.
1-Bedroom Villa
The 1-bedroom sleeps up to five guests. The master bedroom has a king-size bed while the living room has a queen Murphy bed and a single pull-down bed. These units also include a full-size kitchen and a washer and dryer.
2-Bedroom Villa
The default 2-bedroom sleeps nine. Oddly enough, the more expensive Penthouse 2-Bedroom only sleeps eight. This unit has one king, two queens, a queen Murphy, and a single pull-down. These larger DVC Villas are a great space for larger family or friend gatherings. Sure, they require a lot more points, but the hang is worth it.
The Polynesian’s Island Tower Villas welcomes guests on December 17, 2024.
