Universal Orlando’s 2026 Military Freedom Pass and Discounted Tickets for Service Members

As a thank-you to service members, Universal Orlando Resort is bringing back its Military Freedom Pass and a slate of other military discounts for 2026. The Freedom Pass, a deeply discounted Annual Pass, remains the standout deal, but guests can also save on specially priced tickets and vacation packages. Here’s Universal’s announcement:

“You’ve earned your leave and then some. As thanks for your service, we offer Eligible Service Members (defined below) specially priced tickets and vacation packages. Make every second with your family count with a vacation that actually feels like a vacation. At Universal Orlando Resort, you can free yourself to be yourself.”

2026 Military Freedom Pass

The Military Freedom Pass is available for two or three parks (excluding Epic Universe). The 2-park version costs $220 per person, plus tax. That’s a significant savings over Universal’s Seasonal Pass, which comes in at $425. The military pass also has fewer blockout dates than Universal’s cheapest AP, as well.

Eligible service members can purchase up to six Military Freedom Passes, but one of them must be for that service member. They must also present a valid qualifying Military ID or DOD ID at any Universal Orlando theme park front gate ticket window to activate the tickets.

The 2026 Military Freedom Pass can only be purchased at an Authorized Military Ticket & Travel Office.

Service members can also purchase discounted single-day Epic Universe tickets. Since prices vary by date, check Universal’s website for the latest details.

Most Authorized Military Ticket & Travel Offices offer discounts on the following ticket types:

  • 1-Day TicketsVisit Universal Islands of Adventure and/or Universal Studios Florida on the same day
  • Multi-Day TicketsVisit Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios Florida, and Universal Volcano Bay, and 1 separate day at Universal Epic Universe. Note that Volcano Bay will be closed from October 26, 2026, through March 24, 2027.
  • Halloween Horror Nights

Finally, Universal Orlando is also offering two discounted vacation packages. The Military Create Your Own Vacation Package is for four nights, while the The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Exclusive Vacation Package – Military Special Offer is for 5-night stays. The latter comes with some bonus perks, like a Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Flight, two breakfasts (Leaky Cauldron and Three Broomsticks), and a Shutterbutton’s photo shoot.
