Universal Nights Coming to Epic Universe With Shorter Waits and Free Food
Universal Nights is coming to Epic Universe, giving guests five hours inside the park, including three hours after it closes. The separately ticketed event promises lower wait times, complimentary snacks, unlimited Coca-Cola Freestyle refills, and special character appearances.
It will also give attendees a chance to see Universal Celestial Goodnight, Epic Universe’s new nighttime spectacular, which debuts tonight.

- October 3 and 17, 2026. More dates may be announced in the future.
Hours
- 9 PM – 12 AM, but guests can get in as early as 7 PM.
Complimentary snacks & drinks
- Berry-flavored Celestial Popcorn and crispy Kimchi Bao
- Unlimited Coca-Cola Freestyle refills
Tickets
- Universal Nights cost $179.99. Universal Annual Passholders get a 10% discount for them and up to 5 guests (6 tickets total).
- Tickets go on sale on August 13, 2026, on Universal’s website.
If spending $180 for five hours in a theme park seems a little expensive, it’s not without precedent. Disney After Hours parties are similarly priced:
- Magic Kingdom: $175 to $199
- EPCOT: $155 to $179
- Hollywood Studios: $155 to $189
Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club members can save $30 at the EPCOT and Hollywood Studios parties.
So yes, after-hours events are expensive, no matter who’s hosting them. At $179.99, guests are paying a premium for five hours in the park. But for those who simply want to slam rides, Universal Nights could be worth it.
Still, this might not be the announcement most fans were hoping for. More than a year after Epic Universe’s debut, Annual Passes still aren’t available. Who knows when locals will be able to pop in for Stardust Racers and a Giant Mushroom from Pizza Moon?
