Universal Kids Resort Offering Preview Tickets Ahead of Grand Opening
Universal Kids Resort is giving guests an opportunity to visit the park before its official July 1 grand opening. Preview tickets are now available for June 24–29, at $49.99 per person.
Universal announced the previews with this message:
“Our new friends and neighbors can get a sneak peek of our first theme park made just for kids before Grand Opening! Why? Because we’re so excited for grown-ups and kids to be the first to experience Universal Kids Resort. Why? To share the seven amazing lands filled with kids’ favorite characters. Why? You’ll have to see for yourselves!”
The preview period will give guests an early look at Universal’s newest park, which includes lands themed to SpongeBob SquarePants, Jurassic World, Minions, Gabby’s Dollhouse, and more. It also marks the first time the public will be able to experience the resort before opening day crowds arrive.
These are technical rehearsals
Before rushing to buy tickets, it’s important to understand what a preview is – a technical rehearsal. That means attractions, entertainment, dining locations, and other experiences may not be available at all times. Some rides could open late, close unexpectedly, or remain unavailable all day as Team Members test operations ahead of the grand opening. You’re paying for early access, not a finished product.
That’s the appeal for many theme park fans. Preview days offer a chance to experience the park before everyone else. Families expecting a perfectly polished experience might want to wait until the park’s grand opening.
