Universal Adds Harry Potter and Mine-Cart Madness to Epic Universe’s Express Pass
Universal has tweaked the Epic Universe’s Express Pass. Guests purchasing the ticket upgrade can now skip the line on two more rides: Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry and Mine-Cart Madness. That leaves Dragon Racer’s Rally as the only attraction without an Express Pass queue. Here’s the updated list of attractions:
- Constellation Carousel
- Curse of the Werewolf
- Fyre Drill
- Hiccup’s Wing Gliders
- Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry™
- Le Cirque Arcanus™
- Mario Kart™: Bowser’s Challenge
- Mine-Cart Madness™
- Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment
- Stardust Racers
- The Untrainable Dragon
- Yoshi’s Adventure™
Epic Universe’s Express Pass comes at a premium price, ranging from $179.99 to $359.99 depending on the day. While it will get you on the rides faster, it does have its drawbacks. Obviously, the price is prohibitive for many guests. Buyers will also miss out on enjoying complete ride queues, many of which are themed as beautifully as the rides themselves. Finally, guests can only use the pass once per attraction.
All that being said, today’s news is being well-received in my family. We purchased Express Passes for the second day of our upcoming Epic vacation (at a price significantly cheaper than the current rates). Day one will allow us to enjoy those beautiful queues. Day two will have us slamming rides.
