Soarin’ Across America Soundtrack Released Ahead of EPCOT Debut
Disney has released the Soarin’ Across America soundtrack ahead of the attraction’s debut at EPCOT on May 26. Once again, Bruce Broughton has composed a beautiful musical accompaniment for the new scenes awaiting guests.

While the score still leans on Jerry Goldsmith’s original themes, Broughton takes even more liberties here than he did with his music for Soarin’ Around the World. That’s apparent from the very beginning. The harp sets the tone before giving way to quick woodwind runs, trumpets, and a powerful low brass entrance. Kudos to the bass trombonist.
Just as he did for the Soarin’ Around the World, Broughton uses regionally inspired styles and instrumentation to bring each landscape to life. That’s especially noticeable in the bayou scene, the flight over Oahu, and the western cattle drive. In fact, the music accompanying that western flyover feels reminiscent of Goldsmith’s orchestrations during a similar moment in Soarin’ Over California.
This is another five-star addition to your EPCOT playlist. And if that somehow isn’t enough, Broughton also recorded a second arrangement featuring a more intimate chamber orchestra. We like it enough, but without that beautiful low brass section, we’ll stick to the original.
The Soarin’ Across America soundtrack is now available to purchase and stream on Apple Music, Amazon, and Spotify.
