Scenario Named in Permit for Encanto Attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Walt Disney Imagineering has filed a Notice of Commencement for work tied to the upcoming Encanto attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The permit lists Scenario as the contractor responsible for installing set elements inside Casa Madrigal in Tropical Americas.

Scenario specializes in show sets, props, and rockwork. While their name doesn’t appear on permits as often as some other vendors, their résumé speaks for itself. They were part of the team that fabricated and installed the AT-ATs for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. They also contributed to Batuu’s amazing rockwork.

Last month, steelworkers set the final beam on Encanto’s show building. Since then, crews have shifted their focus to the attraction’s queue structure, visible in this article’s lead photo from Bioreconstruct. His image also confirms the show building is now roofed in.
With the exterior shell largely in place, the project is ready to move inside, where companies like Scenario will shift the focus from steel to storytelling.
The Encanto attraction – along with the Indiana Jones retheme of DINOSAUR and a new animal-themed carousel – will debut when Tropical Americas opens at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in 2027.
