runDisney Dates Announced for 2025 and early 2026

runDisney has shared its 2025 and early 2026 race dates. I’ve never run a race at Disney (if I don’t count speed-walking to rides after rope drop). I find that my legs get enough exercise walking Kidani’s hallways. But I have friends who inexplicably love waking at 3 AM for the privilege. So maybe I’ll join them someday.

Maybe.

In addition to the usual fan-favorite events, Disney is introducing the runDisney Virtual Love race in 2025. Virtual races allow runners to set their own course and schedule. They also don’t have to worry about the balloon ladies, those nefarious volunteers who pick off slower runners. But you still get a medal (or three). Win-win.

There is a caveat to those virtual races. They’re only available to those with a US address.

Virtual Races

2025 runDisney Virtual Love on the Run 14-Miler (New)

February 1 – 28, 2025
General Registration: September 17, 2024

This race is actually broken up into three shorter virtual races, (2-miler, 5-miler, and 7-miler). And because you run three races, you get three medals.
