Official Announcement Teases Universal Kids Resort Experiences

Universal has released an “official announcement” teaser for the Universal Kids Resort set to open in 2026. Since the Frisco, Texas, theme park is still under construction, the short video focuses on kid-friendly attractions at Universal’s other parks. Much of the footage spotlights DreamWorks Land at Universal Studios Florida, offering a glimpse of the type of experiences coming to Texas.

The video also shows several character encounters, including Gabby, Shrek, the Minions, dinosaurs, and SpongeBob SquarePants. Even better, it looks like kids will enjoy free play opportunities on playgrounds and splash pads. Every theme park needs free play areas. Kids get tired standing in long lines for 3-minute rides.

Universal Kids Resort opens in Frisco, Texas, in the spring or summer of 2026.
