No Reservation, No Bus: Disney Springs Tightens Access During Easter Week

During peak crowds, Walt Disney World has a habit of tightening the screws on Disney Springs transportation. That’s happening this week. Cast Members are scanning MagicBands before letting guests into the Disney Springs bus loop.

The first report came from a Facebook post by Brian Yerac, and WDWMAGIC confirmed it after checking with Cast Members on site. If you’re trying to board a bus, you’ll now need one of the following:

  • An active resort hotel reservation
  • A confirmed dining reservation at a resort
  • A confirmed recreation activity

Cast Members told both Yerac and WDWMAGIC that this is a temporary move to keep Disney Springs’ free parking garages from being used as unofficial resort parking during one of the busiest weeks of the year.

No other resort bus transportation is affected. Things should go back to normal at Disney Springs after next weekend.
