Many Jambo House Standard-View Villas Have Beautiful Savanna Views

We used our DVC points to book a stand-view studio villa at Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House a few years ago. I usually opt for a savanna view, but our points were limited that year. After that trip, I doubt I’ll ever book a savanna-view villa at Jambo again as our room had a great view of the Uzima Savanna. At first, I thought we had been pixie-dusted. We were upstairs people! But no. There are dozens of Jambo House standard-view villas with savanna views. Those sightlines might not be as expansive as the “real” savanna rooms, but we weren’t complaining. Would you mind opening up your curtains to these scenes?

Although you can make room requests when you check in online, there is no option for “give me a great view for fewer points, please.” It’s the luck of the draw, but I’m certain you’ll be happy with your room more often than not. However, if you get a lesser view, the animals are very accessible at Jambo House. Animal Kingdom Lodge has many common areas with great sight lines of the savannas.

Animal Kingdom Lodge is a must for anyone who appreciates a more peaceful Disney World vacation. But be aware that some of the hallways are incredibly long. Request a room close to the lobby to save those steps for the parks.
