Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses Debuts Early in EPCOT
Living with the Land – Glimmering Greenhouses has debuted early at EPCOT. The holiday overlay wasn’t scheduled to appear until November 28 (the first day of this year’s Festival of the Holidays), but it quietly switched on a few days ahead of schedule. Luckily for my family, we managed to catch it before heading back to reality tomorrow.

Earlier this evening, I noticed “Glimmering Greenhouses” had been added to the Living with the Land sign in the Land Pavilion. My photo makes it look like it’s well-lit, but it was not. I ended up asking a Cast Member if the overlay was actually live, and he confirmed it launched a couple of days ago.
Glimmering Greenhouses, formerly Merry & Bright Nights, turns one of EPCOT’s most iconic rides up to 11. Oversized ornaments, wreaths, wrapped gifts, and thousands of lights now fill the ride’s four greenhouses. The lights steal the show, but the family of snowpeople and the reindeer-Mickey-head plant come in a close second.

While Living with the Land is gorgeous any time of day, Glimmering Greenhouses is absolutely a nighttime experience. You’ll wait a bit longer, but the glow is worth the extra minutes in line.
And now, the photos…

Glimmering Greenhouses brings a whole new vibe to Living with the Land. Those lights, ornaments, and seasonal touches turn a calm, familiar cruise into a full-on holiday experience. If you’re in EPCOT for the holidays, be sure to make time for a nighttime ride.
