Joe Rohde Presenting Master Classes at Walt Disney Imagineering
Earlier today, Joe Rohde walked into the Walt Disney Imagineering building. And social media melted down. Many fans would love for the former Imagineer — and soon-to-be Disney Legend — to come back to Disney full-time. Instead, Rohde will be mentoring current Imagineers in a series of master classes.

Following in the footsteps of many former Imagineers, Joe continues to mentor and share his years of storytelling knowledge with current Imagineers, contributing to the future of creativity at Walt Disney Imagineering.”

Rohde is an all-time Disney icon. I can’t imagine the vibe in that building this morning. I’d pay a lot of money to audit those master classes. He was the lead designer for Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney Vacation Club’s Aulani. He also had a hand in EPCOT’s Mexico and Norway Pavilions, Disneyland’s Fantasyland, and Disney California Adventure’s Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: BREAKOUT!
Joe Rohde and 13 other Disney icons will be honored at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event on Sunday, August 11, at 5 p.m. at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA.
