Jeff Vahle Congratulates Universal Ahead of Epic Universe Opening

Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle shared his best wishes with the Universal Orlando team ahead of Epic Universe’s official opening tomorrow:

His Instagram post aligns with previous statements made by Disney executives who believe Epic Universe will bring more visitors to Central Florida. Whether or not those increased numbers benefit Disney World’s short-term attendance remains to be seen. Regardless, social media prognosticators who think Epic will put Disney out of business are just farming for clicks. Don’t drink that Kool-Aid.

Instead, know that we, the theme park fans, will benefit bigly. For the first time in 26 years, Central Florida is getting a brand-new major theme park. And Disney will respond with new attractions, shows, and surprises of its own. What a time to be alive!
