iTV, Disney+ Coming to Disney World Resort Hotels

Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guests will soon be able to watch Disney+ on interactive hotel room televisions. The service, dubbed iTV, will allow guests to log into their Disney+ accounts using a personal device. Those without a subscription will be prompted to sign up for the service. Unfortunately, free Disney+ will not be part of your Disney vacation, but on-demand titles are available.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge

iTV and Disney+ are already available at Wilderness Lodge and will be rolled out to other Disney hotels in phases. We don’t have any more details about the iTV dashboard, but we assume it will include theme park information, PhotoPass images, and promotions.

Guests staying in hotels that haven’t been updated with iTV can continue to use the “Connect My Device” feature to stream content from their tablets or phones. We watched a Mandalorian episode that way a few years ago. We don’t usually watch TV on vacation, but I couldn’t risk anyone spoiling it. It had to be done.

We’ll share more details about the iTV rollout as we receive them.
