Imagineering Shares Look Inside Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Refurbishment
Disney Imagineering shared a rare peek behind Big Thunder Mountain Railroad’s construction walls. In a new short, Imagineer Nathaniel takes viewers along for a day in his life. Unfortunately, it’s not all hard hats and job sites. Most of Nathaniel’s day is spent in his office and meeting rooms.
The glimpses of Big Thunder we do get look fantastic, especially the shot of the Roger E. Broggie steam engine rolling in front of the attraction’s iconic spires. We also see a section of newly installed track and Nathaniel’s team reviewing wood samples.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is set to reopen early next year.
