Hoop Dee Holidays: DVC Members Get Special Shows at Fort Wilderness

On two nights in December, DVC Members can enjoy Disney Vacation Club Hoop Dee Holidays, a special presentation of the Fort Wilderness mainstay. Here’s the announcement:

“Join the Pioneer Hall Players for frontier-style family fun! On December 9 and December 16, eligible Disney Vacation Club Members are invited to celebrate the holidays in true pioneer fashion at Disney Vacation Club Hoop Dee Holidays. Say ‘howdy’ to a festive music-and-comedy revue and fantastic feast among your fellow Members. Plus, enjoy a Member-exclusive pre-show and keepsake to commemorate your evening.”

Along with the classic Hoop-Dee-Doo greatness (the Pioneer Hall Players and endless buckets of food), Members will also enjoy a special pre-show and receive a keepsake. All that for just $5 more than regular bookings. With only four showtimes across two nights, expect these to sell out fast. We share booking details below.

Show times

4:00 PM and 6:15 PM ET

Seating will begin immediately, with the show starting 20 minutes later. As is the case with any Hoop Dee Doo evening, guests should arrive early to check in. And since the Fort Wilderness restaurant isn’t the most accessible in Disney World, they should build in extra time for boats and buses, as well.

Location

Hoop Dee Holidays takes place at Pioneer Hall at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.

Eligibility

DVC owners who are eligible for Membership Extras can book Hoop Dee Holidays. Check your Digital Membership card and look for a “DVC Y” designation. If it’s listed, you’ll be eating plenty of beans in December.

Party size limits

A Member may bring up to 11 additional guests per Membership (for a total of 12).

Seating and prices

As is the case with regular Hoop-Dee-Doo Revues, seating is broken up into three categories. Categories 1 and 2 are on the ground floor. Those with mobility issues should book one of those, since there isn’t an elevator to get to Category 3 seating on the second floor.

  • Category 1
    $83.00 per person (ages 10 and older), $50.00 per person (ages 3 to 9)
  • Category 2
    $79.00 per person (ages 10 and older), $46.00 per person (ages 3 to 9)
  • Category 3
    $75.00 per person (ages 10 and older), $45.00 per person (ages 3 to 9)

Prices include tax and gratuity. Payment is due at the time of booking.
