Gideon’s Bakehouse Expanding with Six Ravens at Disney Springs
Gideon’s Bakehouse is expanding at Disney Springs. No, this will not result in shorter lines for its excellent cookies and cakes. The new location, called Six Ravens, will serve up savory treats developed by Gideon’s bakers in collaboration with Orlando chefs.
The new shop’s headliners are “old school hand pies,” what Gideon’s is calling Coffyns. The shop describes them this way:
“This fluffy yeast bread is filled with flavors created not only by the talented minds in Gideon’s kitchen but also by some of your favorite Orlando culinary superstars. Combine that with potatoes, local draft beer, and, of course, some tasty desserts, and you will have a fun new place to fuel your park adventures.”
Six Ravens opens later this year. You should plan for lines that defy logic when it does. After all, Gideon’s Bakehouse opened five years ago today and still draws the biggest crowds in Disney Springs.
In addition to this bombshell news, Gideon’s announced it’s celebrating its birthday with free swag. Starting today, guests visiting the bakery will receive a free Gargoyle Print (while supplies last). They also added Birthday Cake Dunking Sticks to the menu.

Ah, to live in Orlando.
