First Look: Epic Universe Merchandise Unveiled for Grand Opening
Universal revealed some of the merchandise that will debut when Epic Universe opens on May 22. The shared items, available at over 20 retail locations in the park, are inspired by four of the five Epic Portals: The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk and Dark Universe.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic

The Harry Potter merchandise is inspired by “1920s wizarding Paris, the Fantastic Beasts films, the British Ministry of Magic and much more.” We previously talked about the wands coming to Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique. Guests wanting that vintage wizarding vibe should check out Les Galeries Mirifiques where they’ll find “1920s-era wizarding robes complete with berets and neck ties, messenger bags with wand holders as well as jewelry and accessories representing each of the four Hogwarts houses.”

Wizards wanting to accessorize will discover plenty at Tour En Floo. The shop’s Métro-Floo collection includes a Time-Turner and the British Ministry of Magic line of apparel and wand accessories.

Finally, it’s not just about clothes and wands. K. Rammelle, the French confectionary shop, will offer “délicieux, giftable sweets and treats from potions to Chocolate Frogs and beyond.”
SUPER NINTENDO WORLD

Fans of sippers and popcorn buckets should head to SUPER NINTENDO WORLD at rope drop. Select shops in the land will sell the light-up Super Star Popcorn Bucket, a 1-UP Mushroom Sipper, and a Super Mushroom Sipper.

If food containers aren’t your thing, 1-UP Factory and Mario Motors will sell “character hats and headbands themed to Chef Toad, Bowser Jr., Princess Peach and more; character plush like Mario, Luigi and Donkey Kong; a Mario Kart collection and a colorful Yoshi collection.”
Guests wanting to rock a banana-shaped fanny pack should head to Funky’s Fly ‘n’ Buy where they’ll also find a gigantic Donkey Kong coffee mug, a Diddy Kong ticket holder.

Power-Up Bands will be sold throughout the portal. The bands amp up the land’s interactive gaming by letting guests win digital keys, collect digital coins and stamps, track their score, and check their ranking. The bands are inspired by Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Toad, Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, Donkey Kong, and Diddy Kong.
How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk

Who wants a Toothless plush housed in a dragon egg?! Guests can adopt their favorite dragon (and others) and take them home in a crossbody egg carrier. Toothless’ Treasures and other Isle of Berk shops will also offer “blind-box collectible dragon toys, apparel, and plush inspired by the larger-than-life dragons in Berk and a Toothless collection that features a popcorn bucket, zip-up jacket, wings, masks, plush headbands and more.”

Viking Traders will have all the merch for those who want to cosplay as vikings, including helmets, masks, shirts, shields, and swords. Hiccup’s Work Shop will have “rustic swag fit for the most impressionable dragon trainers.”
The land will also include some sweets, including chocolate dragon eggs (complete with trading cards) and sheep marshmallows.

Dark Universe

The Dark Universe tees have an 80s-era iron-on decal vibe. And that’s a good thing. Who doesn’t want this shirt with Frankenstein’s Monster, the Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula, The Wolf Man, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon?

Want to feel like one of those classic Universal Monsters? Then check out the Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience to get made up with elaborate monster-inspired face paint. Then head next door to Pretorius’ Scientific Oddities to finish the look with their cosplay apparel. Universal promises to share more about this experience soon.

Those who want to be more subtle with their monster love can shop for apparel, hats, collectible figures (I still call them action figures), and plushes at Pretorious’ Scientific Oddities, The Manor Storehouse, and Guild of Mystics.
Celestial Park
We don’t have any Celestial Park merch images to share, but we can tell you Epic’s centerpiece will offer “apparel and accessories for the entire family, home décor, collectible souvenirs, glowing wands and headbands, a light-up popcorn bucket, and items from the Epic Universe Grand Opening collection.”
Celestial Park’s shops include Other Worlds Mercantile, Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets, Various Emporia (and its three smaller shops: Sensorium Emporium, North Star – Wintry Wonders, Lens Flair), and Nintendo Super Star Store.
Some of the above items are already available at shop.universalorlando.com. Everything else will debut when Epic Universe opens on May 22, 2025.
