Epic Universe Excluded from Premier Passholder “Express After 4 PM” Perk

Epic Universe Excluded from Premier Passholder

Contrary to reports, Universal Orlando Premier Annual Passholders will not be able to take advantage of the “Express after 4 PM” perk at Epic Universe.

Last Friday, a comment in Universal Orlando’s official Annual Passholder Facebook group created quite a buzz. A user asked whether the Premier Passholder’s Express Pass benefit would apply to Epic Universe. Universal replied that the perk would be available to top-tier Passholders once the new park opens on May 22. Users screenshotted the thread and shared it on social media. But before I could write an article, Universal removed the comment and prevented users from creating new threads. Today, they posted the following correction:

“To show our appreciation for our Passholders, special perks will be available when visiting Universal Epic Universe. Separate admission to Epic Universe [is] required. Please note that Early Park Admission and Express after 4pm Passholder perks are not available at Epic Universe.”

Universal’s Annual Passholder FAQ also states the Express after 4PM benefit isn’t in the cards.

While it makes sense to offer some Epic Universe perks to Passholders, expecting the “Express after 4 PM” benefit to be one of them was always a long shot. Including it could put a serious strain on both Express and standby queues later in the day. Universal might offer it once Epic Universe is officially part of the Annual Pass program, but I doubt that happens (at least at first).
