Disney World’s Free Water Park Perk Returns in 2027, Minus One Hotel
Good news! Walt Disney World’s wildly popular Water Park Benefit is returning in 2027. The perk lets guests staying at most Disney Resort Collection hotels spend their check-in day at either Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach (on the house) throughout the summer.
There is a bit of bad news, though. Guests staying at the Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort won’t be eligible for the freebie in 2027. If you’re booked there for summer 2026, you’re still in luck and can take advantage of the offer.

It’s a small tweak, but one that’ll matter to a very specific group of guests. For everyone else, it’s the return of one of Disney’s better vacation perks. Disney hasn’t announced 2027 dates just yet, but we expect a window similar to this year’s benefit, which runs from May 26 through September 8, 2026.
