“Disney Starlight” Nighttime Parade Coming to Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom needs a nighttime parade. Fans have clamored for one ever since the Main Street Electrical Parade was shuttered in 2016. Thankfully, Disney heard us. At last night’s D23 Parks panel, Josh D’Amaro, with the help of Rachel Potter and Eden Espinosa, announced that a new Magic Kingdom parade will debut in summer 2025. It sounds like “Disney Starlight” will pay homage to the OG parade:

“Disney Starlight” will continue the nighttime spectacular legacy started by the “Main Street Electrical Parade” using the latest technology to tell new stories about the characters you love. All of this is brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy, in addition to beloved characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios films “Peter Pan,” “Encanto,” “Frozen,” and more.
