July 19 update: Magic Kingdom guests will enjoy two more soft open performances of Disney Starlight this evening, at 9:00 and 11:00 PM. The parade officially debuts tomorrow night.
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away is premiering two days early. The soft opening of Magic Kingdom’s newest nighttime parade happens in less than two hours, at 9 PM EDT. This news is spreading fast, so if you’re at the Walt Disney World Resort, you’ll want to park hop immediately.

I love this strategy. Cast Members have been rehearsing the parade after hours for a while now, but nothing compares to performing for real people. The adrenaline and energy of a live show can’t be matched in a rehearsal. To those of you in the park, enjoy the spontaneous performance of Magic Kingdom’s first regular nighttime parade in nearly a decade.
