Disney Shares Preview of The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure

Last week, Jodi Benson took us behind the scenes of The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure. She was treated to the show’s first-ever performance on the Animation Courtyard Theater stage. While we caught glimpses of the production, the accompanying video focused mostly on the OG Ariel and her reactions. Today, Disney shared a small sampling of what Benson saw.

While the video highlights the show’s beautiful stage and visuals, its steel drum soundtrack reveals nothing about the musical numbers. Guests will have to wait to hear “Part of Your World,” “Under the Sea,” “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” and “Kiss the Girl” when the show opens next week.

In addition to the video, Disney shared seven photos from the production. Kudos to the photographers who took these shots, which capture how well the live performers mesh with the traditional and digital puppets.
