Disney Reveals First Look Inside Refurbished Treehouse Villas

Disney has shared a first look inside the reimagined Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort. These villas have long been a favorite among guests who need a little extra space while visiting Walt Disney World. And by space, we mean both square footage and distance from other people.

Each Treehouse features three bedrooms, a living room, and a full kitchen, making it one of the resort’s largest accommodations. Better yet, they’re hidden among dense trees, giving you plenty of separation from your neighbors.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, the new looks are inspired by “New England–style craftsmanship and the timeless artistry of the Arts and Crafts movement.” The updated color palette, wood molding, and stone accents are meant to provide natural, organic vibes. Woodland animal-themed murals dominate the bedrooms. Lamp shades, throw pillows, paintings, and animal carvings reinforce the theme. The carpet has a botanical motif.

More practically, each 3-bedroom villa is getting all-new furniture, fixtures, and washers and dryers. There’s space for up to nine people, who will sleep on traditional beds, bunk beds, Murphy beds, and sleeper sofas. The bedrooms have unique footprints thanks to the unit’s octagonal shape.

The Treehouse Villas refurbishment is expected to be completed later this year.
