Disney Cast Members Sign Steel Beam for Encanto’s Casa Madrigal

Disney Cast Members and executives recently signed a steel beam for Casa Madrigal, the centerpiece of the Encanto-themed attraction coming to Animal Kingdom’s Tropical Americas. Beam signings are a long-standing tradition on major projects, giving teams a chance to leave their mark before the steel disappears behind walls and finishes. And yes, I see the irony in that statement.

Jeff Vahle, President of Walt Disney World, was on hand to add his signature. He shared his thoughts on LinkedIn:

“I’ve always loved this stage of construction. The groundwork has been laid, beams are going into place, and you can begin to imagine what it will be like in the future. There is no doubt this land is going to impress – and that will become clear as we reveal more details. Stay tuned!”
