Daniel Jue Named Disneyland Resort Creative Director
Yesterday we learned that Disneyland will be a major player at Saturday night’s D23 Disney Experiences Showcase. If that wasn’t enough to excite fans of Walt’s park, today we’ve learned that Daniel Jue has been named Disneyland Resort’s creative director. Jue spent the last 14 years leading the Imagineering team at Tokyo Disney Resort. Gavin Doyle of MickeyVisit.com was the first to report this news.

Jue’s official title is Portfolio Executive Creative Director, Disneyland Resort at Walt Disney Imagineering. His job description is what most of us can only dream of:
Creative leader of the Disneyland Resort portfolio, overseeing Imagineering teams in Glendale and in Anaheim; responsible for developing strategic objectives, Master Planning, Visioning, and development of projects within the resort with our site partners.
If his time at Tokyo Disney Resort is an indication, Disneyland guests are in for a treat. Considered by many to be the world’s best theme parks, Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea continue to amaze fans. If that’s not enough, Joe Rohde is all-in on Jue’s impressive work.
Congratulations to Dan Jue, truly one of the best creative leaders I know. Thoughtful, brave, compassionate.

I’m sure we’ll learn more about Daniel Jue and his role at Disneyland in tomorrow’s D23 Parks panel presentation.
