D23 Members Invited to Overnight Taping of Disney’s Magical Holiday Celebration at Disneyland

D23 Members who are insomniacs have a great opportunity at Disneyland next week. Disney will be taping “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration” overnight on October 24-25, 2025. D23 Members will serve as the audience for the made-for-television performances. Here’s the official announcement:

“Are you ready to get into the holiday spirit? You have the exclusive chance to be a part of the kickoff to the holiday season as we are extending the opportunity to D23 Members to attend an overnight taping of ‘The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration.’ Watch as the magic comes to life through live performances that fill the park with that special magic that only Disney can do.”

The taping will take place from 11 PM to 6:30 AM. Complimentary tickets are available to D23 Members, both gold and general.

There are some caveats. Guests will be standing and waiting much of the time. And they won’t be able to take pictures or video during the event. While they can’t wear costumes, they are encouraged to put on warm Disney gear. Finally, no kids are allowed. Everyone must be 18 or older.

Now for the good stuff. Those guests will get to see and hear Disney’s holiday performances before the show airs on ABC during the holidays. In the past, that’s meant performances by DJ Khaled, Ariana DeBose, Tori Kelly, Robin Thicke, the Smashing Pumpkins, and many others. Not a bad tradeoff for missing out on a night of sleep.

How to get tickets

  • D23 Gold and General Members may reserve a ticket for themselves and up to 3 guest(s) for this event.
  • Each attendee, including the D23 Member and their guest(s), must possess a valid, individual event ticket to be admitted.
  • Ticket quantities are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • To reserve tickets, D23 Members must log in using their valid D23 Member account credentials and assign a legal first and last name for each guest’s ticket.
  • Tickets are non-transferable and must be used by the individual(s) named at the time of purchase. D23 Members and each of their guests over the age of 18 may be required to show a valid government-issued ID matching the name on their ticket.
