Blizzard Beach Celebrates 30th Anniversary This April

Blizzard Beach will celebrate its 30th anniversary this April. The month-long event will feature dance parties, special food and beverages, and family-friendly games and prizes. Guests visiting the park on April 1 — Blizzard Beach’s actual anniversary — will be treated to even more:

“Just imagine a high-energy DJ spinning some toe-tapping tunes on the deck near the Polar Pub. And fun interactions with Mickey and Minnie decked out in their winter attire. There’s even going to be snowman bowling and character-themed tubes for floating down Cross Country Creek.”

Blizzard Beach will close at the end of the day on April 30 for a refurbishment. Typhoon Lagoon opens the following day, ensuring Walt Disney World Resort guests can continue to take advantage of its water park promotion.
