Discounted Disney Gift Card Coming to Best Buy Drops [Updated]

Best Buy will sell a discounted $100 Disney Gift Card on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. The sale is part of the company’s “Drops” promotion, limited-run deals available only in the Best Buy app. Typically, customers are limited to one item per purchase. Last December each $100 Disney Gift Card sold for $80. They were gone within minutes.

In addition to Drops items, Best Buy also sells Disney Gift Cards in denominations of $25, $50, $100, and $200 in both digital and physical formats. Physical cards do not include the $200 option. If you already have a physical card, we recommend purchasing a digital version and transferring the funds to your existing card at disneygiftcard.com.

If you don’t already have a Best Buy account, create one as soon as you download the app. After logging in, scroll to the “Drops” section on the home screen. Tap “Notify me” on the Disney Gift Card item. You’ll receive a notification 30 minutes before the drop occurs. Learn more about Best Buy Drops.

The MDE and Disneyland apps do not allow you to store your funds digitally. However, you can save the 16-digit Gift Card number and EAN (PIN) to your phone’s notes for quick access when making online purchases. We do that regularly when placing mobile food orders in the parks.

You can use Disney Gift Cards just about anywhere Disney operates, including Walt Disney World, Disneyland, ShopDisney, and Disney Cruise Line. You can use them to pay for park tickets, hotel rooms, dining, merchandise, and plenty more. Just be sure you don’t purchase Disney+ gift cards by mistake. Those can only be used for Disney’s streaming service.
