Animal Kingdom’s The Boneyard Closing September 1

Fans of Animal Kingdom’s The Boneyard should head to the park this summer. The dinosaur-themed play area is set to close at the end of the day on September 1, 2025. Construction walls will go up the following day.

We thought The Boneyard would be available through the end of the year. Disney previously announced that guests could enjoy the space “throughout 2025.”

There is good news in all of this. Disney also announced that a new kids’ play area is planned for Tropical Americas, the land replacing Dinoland U.S.A. We don’t know specifics, but any space that allows kids to escape endless queues and engage in free play is a win.
