Animal Kingdom Added to Extended Evening Hours
Guests staying in Disney’s most expensive hotels can enjoy Extended Evening Hours in Animal Kingdom this fall. I’m thrilled that my favorite park has finally been added to the lineup. Animal Kingdom typically closes between 6 and 7 PM, depriving us of enjoying that park after dark.
As usual, Hollywood Studios will replace Magic Kingdom in the Extended Evening Hours rotation for fall. Magic Kingdom’s Halloween and Christmas parties make it impossible for that park to host other after-hours events. EPCOT will also be open to Disney Deluxe Resort guests on select nights.

Animal Kingdom’s Extended Hours are so early that you might still be able to park hop to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios and slam some more rides.

Guests wanting to ride Cosmic Rewind can request to join a virtual queue at 6 PM. They do not need to be in the park to join.

Extended Evening Hours shouldn’t be confused with paid Disney after-hours events. Most shops and restaurants close with the park, so prepare to eat or shop before then. This perk is all about slamming rides. It’s greatness.
