2027 planDisney Panel Search: Application Dates and Requirements

The search for the 2027 planDisney panel begins at noon Eastern on July 10, 2026. Applications must be submitted by noon Eastern on July 14.

Those selected for the panel will need to be available for training from November 7 through 13, 2026. The experience begins at Walt Disney World and concludes with a Disney Wish cruise. It is a solo trip. Friends and family can’t attend.

If that sounds like a good gig, it is. planDisney panelists are Disney vacation experts who answer guest questions and share advice based on their own experiences. They aren’t paid in cash. Instead, they’re compensated with Disney vacations.

They have to work for the benefit, however. planDisney writers must answer up to 20 questions per week. More typically, panelists are responsible for 8-12 answers per week. They also participate in content creation and other panel activities throughout the year.

Disney is looking for applicants who:

• Have extensive knowledge of at least one Disney destination.
• Enjoy sharing thoughtful advice based on real experiences.
• Communicate in a warm, engaging, and authentic way.
• Like collaborating with others as part of a supportive team.
• Have the time and commitment to answer guest questions regularly and participate in panel activities throughout the year.
• Enjoy creating photos and videos that help inspire future guests.

Applicants must choose a specialty from one of the following areas:

• Walt Disney World Resort
• Disneyland Resort
• Disney Cruise Line
• Disney Vacation Club
• Disneyland Paris
• Disney beach resorts

The reward trips correspond with that list. For example, a Disney Cruise Line panelist will sail on a cruise, while someone answering Walt Disney World Resort questions will travel to Orlando.

The application itself is fairly straightforward. Hopefuls will write several 100-word responses about themselves and their Disney experiences. Those who advance to the second round will answer vacation-related questions and submit a one-minute video.

Before applying, make sure you meet the eligibility requirements. Applicants cannot be travel agents, work in the travel, theme park, or hospitality industries, or be Cast Members. They also can’t be closely related to someone who works in any of those fields.

Applicants must also have taken a relatively recent Disney vacation. The requirements vary by specialty:

• Walt Disney World Resort: Must have visited at least once between July 10, 2025, and July 15, 2026.
• Disneyland Resort: Must have visited at least once between July 10, 2025, and July 15, 2026.
• Disney Cruise Line: Must have sailed at least once between July 10, 2024, and July 15, 2026.
• Disney Vacation Club: Must have traveled to a Disney destination using their Membership at least once between July 10, 2024, and July 15, 2026.

In recent years, planDisney has welcomed more influencers to the panel, but a large audience is not a requirement. If your family and friends already treat you as their Disney vacation expert, you may be a good fit. Visit the planDisney website for more information.
