1900 Park Fare to Reopen at Disney’s Grand Floridian
1900 Park Fare, closed since 2020, will finally reopen on April 10, 2024. This carousel-themed restaurant has been a Grand Floridian staple since 1988, so I’m sure its fans are thrilled with this news.
Refurbished dining rooms
The centerpiece of the main dining room is Big Bertha, the antique organ that’s been a part of the restaurant since it opened. Carousel theming will be prevalent in all of the dining rooms, with characters from Alice in Wonderland and The Little Mermaid showing up as carousel animals. The above mural will be on display in the restaurant’s entrance area.
A unique character lineup
Characters have always been a big part of a 1900 Park Fare meal. Over the years, guests have been entertained by Mary Poppins, Chip & Dale, and Mickey & Minnie. The new lineup is a little more varied, perfect for families with different interests. Aladdin, Cinderella, Mirabel, and Tiana will make the rounds during your meal. Tiana will be decked out in her outfit from the upcoming Tiana’s Bayou Adventure ride.
The buffet
Fans of buffets are in for a treat. Chefs are busy creating new dishes, many of them paying tribute to 1900’s characters. Iconic favorites like the strawberry soup will also be available. 1900 Park Fare is open for breakfast and dinner.
New artwork
Twelve new portraits will hang in the main dining room.
“Each one, inspired by the impressionist art style of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, features a different Disney character as they hope, dream and wish upon a star (or even a magic lamp or a wishing well).”
Guests can reserve a 1900 Park Fare table starting on March 5.
