Universal Kids Resort Trademarks Reveal Café Logo, New Retail Spot

Universal Kids Resort Trademarks Reveal Café Logo, New Retail Spot

Universal has filed four new trademark applications tied to Universal Kids Resort. One of them is giving us our first look at the Universal Kids Resort Café logo, which matches the look of the previously revealed Universal Kids Resort Store logo. The store artwork was also included in the filings, making it official. Other applications cover the already announced Gabby’s Cat-Tastic Dance Party! and a newly revealed location called Universal Kids Resort To Go!

As is usually the case, Aahs n Oohs was the first to spot these filings.

The Café and Store logos have a playful vibe. They each include the main Universal Kids Resort logo alongside letters wrapped in bubbles. Universal Creative is leaning into a kid-first aesthetic in every way, these designs included.

The Universal Kids Resort Store and Universal Kids Resort Café are part of Isle of Curiosity, the first land guests will encounter when entering the park. That placement makes sense. Retail and food are often the first (and last) stops of the day, especially for families.

Universal previously shared that the Café is a quick-service location offering breakfast items, snack packs, and “all-day pastries.” The Universal Kids Resort Store is the resort’s flagship retail location. Expect this to be the main hub for park-wide merchandise and souvenirs. Families will have to pass it when leaving the park. Well played, Universal.

Circling back to the other two filings, Gabby’s Cat-Tastic Dance Party! is an interactive space for kids to dance with Gabby herself. While we’re unsure where Universal Kids Resort To Go! will reside, the filing indicates that it’s a retail store featuring a “wide variety of consumer goods.” We expect the To Go logo to stylistically match the Café and Store designs.

Universal Kids Resort debuts this year, perhaps in late spring or early summer.
