Two Shows, New Route: Disney Starlight Parade Begins Next Month

Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, Magic Kingdom’s new nighttime parade, debuts one month from tonight. When it does, fans will have two opportunities to take in the light-filled spectacle, at 9 and 11 PM. Unlike Festival of Fantasy, the parade will begin on Main Street, U.S.A., and travel towards Frontierland. Disney decided to flip the parade route to “allow for better guest flow at the end of the night.”

If you can stake out a spot near Town Square Theater at 11, you could be on a bus, Monorail, or ferry before the parade concludes.

Disney also shared that Disney Starlight will not be available during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. As always, inclement weather could rain out the parade. Please don’t complain to guest services when that happens.

Happily Ever After as seen from Fantasyland

The Happily Ever After performance schedule has been adjusted to accommodate Starlight. The nighttime spectacular will be shown at 10 PM starting July 20.
