Season of the Force Coming to Disneyland

Season of the Force Coming to Disneyland

I’m a hypocrite. I always write about the importance of Disney parks offering unique experiences. But I’m more than a little jealous today. Disney just announced details for the upcoming Season of the Force. I take it all back. I want all of this in Disney World.

Fire of the Rising Moons

Who wants to watch fireworks while standing next to the Millennium Falcon? Yeah, everyone does. Fire of the Rising Moons is the show we’ve been screaming for ever since Galaxy’s Edge opened. And you’ll be able to watch it from all over that land, including the Black Spire Spaceport (the Falcon), the TIE Echelon docking platform, and the speeder garage.

During this special gathering, villagers and visitors will come together to celebrate their freedom and to honor the heroes and legends of the galaxy who came before them. As the skies over Batuu light up in bursts of color, imaginations are ignited with the iconic music associated with tales from across the galaxy. It will be a powerful moment you won’t want to miss!

John Williams’ iconic scores playing in Galaxy’s Edge. Much more of this, please!

New Star Tours missions

We talked about this last week. Fortunately, this isn’t a Disneyland exclusive. We’ll be able to enjoy the new Ahsoka, Andor, and Mandalorian missions in Hollywood Studios next month.

Disneyland’s Space Mountain will be getting the Hyperspace Mountain overlay for the duration of Season of the Force. Guests will jump to hyperspace before encountering space battles with TIE Fighters, Star Destroyers, and X-Wings. Oh, and they’ll be treated to plenty of that much-needed John Williams music.

Star Wars merchandise, eats & more

The Star Tours – The Adventures Continue merchandise collection will be available to park guests on both coasts. That’s cool. But what about bringing those fireworks to Batuu East?

Disneyland guests will also be able to enjoy the Star Wars sugar cookie and other snacks and beverages. The complete menu and a list of collectible cups will be announced when Disney Eats releases the Season of the Force Foodie Guide.

Finally, guests can use the Disney PhotoPass Service to take Magic Shots with holopucks featuring Din Djarin, Grogu, and other Star Wars characters.

Season of the Force runs in Disneyland from April 5 through June 2, 2024.

Bring those fireworks to Florida!
