Millennium Falcon at night in Hollywood Studios' Galaxy's Edge

Private Photo Shoots Coming to Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios

Disney just announced a new photo service coming to Galaxy’s Edge in Walt Disney World. Capture Your Moment: Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Batuu is a private photo shoot for up to eight guests. Each 20-minute session is priced at $99 and does not include photos, unfortunately. Those will have to be purchased separately. Guests who have Memory Maker or are Annual Passholders with the PhotoPass add-on can download the session photos at no extra cost. Photo shoots begin on January 24.

Sessions will take place in any number of areas:

  • In front of the Millennium Falcon or a First Order shuttle
  • The Black Spire Outpost market
  • Ancient ruins
  • Another beloved spot at this remote outpost

Your session photographer will provide you with a list of available locations before your session begins. Guests wanting multiple spots are free to book back-to-back sessions. There are no discounts for multiple bookings.

Although you might love the opportunity to wear a special outfit while standing in front of the Millennium Falcon, there are rules on attire. Among other outfits, wedding dresses and clothing that drags on the ground will not be permitted. Be sure to read the fine print before you book your photo session.

Guests can book online or via the My Disney Experience app starting January 17. You can and should book your session 60 days before your arrival. Same-day reservations could be available, but I wouldn’t count on that. Use our reservation date calculator to ensure you get a spot when your booking window opens. Full payment is due when you book. You will be charged full price if you cancel within 24 hours of their session or fail to show.
