Disney has revealed runDisney’s 2025 Disneyland Half Marathon medals. I’ll confess, I’m not a runner. But I could be convinced to sign up for a race just to earn a medal. I’m a pretty fast walker. Would the balloon ladies catch me if I cranked out 12-minute miles? Actually, that doesn’t really matter. I’m not a fan of waking up at 3 AM on a vacation.

“Lace up for a race weekend adventure as the 2025 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend presented by HONDA countdown continues with daring runDisney miles just around the corner. Taking place January 30 – February 2, 2025, registered participants will be immersed in epic Disney tales during a thrilling race weekend featuring yoga, four different races, two challenges and courses through both theme parks and around neighboring areas.”

Fortunately for me (and other late risers), we don’t have to worry about being lazy. These races are sold out.

Disneyland Half Marathon

I dig the half marathon medal. Too bad I can’t run 13.1 miles.

Dumbo Double Dare

For those into torture, I present the Dumbo Double Dare medal. You earn it by running 19.3 miles over two days. It’s a great medal, but that’s a lot of miles!

runDisney Kids Races

Kids can get in on the act, too. I checked. I’m not eligible. But the following age groups are.

  • Ages 0-1
  • Ages 1-3
  • Ages 4-6
  • Ages 7-9

Good luck to all who enter. Avoid those balloon ladies. But don’t worry too much, you’ll earn a runDisney medal no matter how slow you are.
