“Magic of the Disney Treasure” Premieres March 28 on NatGeo
Fans of floating Haunted Mansion Parlors and 15-foot Te Kā’s should set their DVRs for 10 PM this Friday, March 28. That’s when “Magic of the Disney Treasure” premieres on National Geographic Channel. The documentary will highlight the various ways Disney brought “beloved films and theme park attractions to life at sea.”
“The film gives a peek behind the curtain of the first Broadway-style adaptation of the Walt Disney Animation Studios’ hit, Moana, and travels to Mexico for an inside look at the creation of Plaza de Coco, an onboard restaurant inspired by the Pixar Animation Studios’ film, Coco. And you won’t want to miss the unprecedented glimpse into the realm of illusions that Disney Imagineers build inside Haunted Mansion Parlor, an immersive bar themed to the Disney Parks’ Haunted Mansion attractions.”
