Good-to-Go Days Are Now Available at Walt Disney World

Disney released the first batch of “Good-to-Go Days” this morning. What promised to be a step in the right direction for Disney World crowd management is instead… underwhelming. That’s because Disney has offered only six Good-to-Go Days between now and February 1.

What are “Good-to-Go Days”?

Announced last month, Good-to-Go Days allow Annual Passholders and Cast Members to enter any park without a reservation. Those groups will need to check the admissions calendar online or in the My Disney Experience app to see when those days are. They’ll be circled in green.

These reservation-less days will not be taken away and will be released days or weeks in advance.

The park reservation system is the least popular of the rules Disney implemented during the pandemic. Annual Passholders were hoping that Good-to-Go Days could be the beginning of the end of that rule, but today’s calendar update makes me think otherwise.

At the very least, Disney should allow Incredi Passholders to enter without reservations. The prohibitive cost of the top-tier pass should come with that benefit.

Disney should also consider exempting Annual Passholders who are staying on property. Disney knows those guests will be entering the parks every day. Making them choose which one — months before their arrival — doesn’t jibe with “Less planning, more fun.” It’s a regular occurrence for me to edit park reservations while on vacation. Disney isn’t spontaneous when I’m having to change EPCOT to Animal Kingdom at midnight when all I want to do is sleep.

I know that the park reservation system is beneficial to Disney. Nobody wants over-crowded parks. I just wish Good-to-Go Days were the norm and we instead had to keep track of “No-Go Days.”
