Frisco Opens Panther Creek and Universal Parkways Around Universal Kids Resort
Drivers can now make a full loop around Universal Kids Resort. The city of Frisco opened two brand-new stretches of Panther Creek Parkway and Universal Parkway last Thursday.
Both roads are vital for Universal Kids Resort traffic. Most visitors will arrive from the Dallas North Tollway before heading east on Universal Parkway. Frisco locals might opt to enter the park from the opposite end of Universal. Hotel guests will use Panther Creek Parkway to access the resort.

Panther Creek’s $56 million expansion added two miles of roadway, including new bridges over its namesake creek and nearby train tracks. Universal Parkway, which cost just under $13 million, has been ready for months. Panther Creek Parkway still needs light poles and median landscaping, so for now, only four of its six lanes are open.
We’ve been tracking both projects since late 2023, so you know what’s coming next — way too many photos of dirt, earth movers, and concrete.
