Epic Universe Ticket Details Announced

Universal confirmed the Wall Street Journal’s report from earlier this week. Epic Universe will open on May 22, 2025. The Helios Grand will also make its debut the same day. Epic Universe tickets go on sale on October 22. Guests wanting to be among the first to walk through those portals will need to purchase a multi-day ticket package that includes a single day in Epic. Annual Passholders will have the option to buy single-day tickets. Let’s get to the details!

Epic Universe ticket options

Getting that day in Epic Universe will require guests to purchase at least a 3-day ticket package.

3-Day Ticket

Enjoy two days of access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, plus one separate day admission to Universal Epic Universe. Adult ticket starting from $118-$174 per day ($352-$521 total).

4-Day Ticket

Enjoy three days of access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, plus one separate day admission to Universal Epic Universe.

5-Day Ticket

Enjoy four days of access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure, plus one separate day admission to Universal Epic Universe.

Guests can save up to $200* (savings based on a 7-night stay) by bundling a 2-night or longer stay at a Universal hotel with one of the multi-day ticket options above.

Guests wanting some time in Volcano Bay can add that option to the above ticket packages. Unfortunately, there are no Florida resident discounts at this time.

Create Your Own Vacation Package

Guests can receive the maximum savings of $200 with a 7-night vacation package that includes:

• a 5-day ticket that includes four days of access to Universal Studios, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Volcano Bay, plus a separate day admission to Universal Epic Universe
• 7-night hotel accommodations at one of Universal Orlando’s 11 magnificently themed resorts
• Early Park Admission for Universal Epic Universe, Universal Volcano Bay and either Universal Studios Florida or Universal Islands of Adventure up to one hour before the park opens

Annual Passholders

Annual Passholders can purchase a 1-Day Epic Universe ticket add-on on October 24. Here’s the fine print:

• Limit of 6 tickets per transaction (if you have more than 6 Passholders linked to your Account, you will need more than 1 transaction).
• Ticket prices and availability vary by day. Restrictions apply.
• An allotment of tickets for all dates, including the week of Grand Opening, have been reserved for Passholders.
• 1-day, dated admission is non-transferable.

Will you need to specify your Epic Universe day?

It doesn’t look like it. From Universal’s FAQs:

When purchasing the current multi-day ticket options that include one-day admission to Universal Epic Universe, you will not need to specify the date that you plan to visit Epic Universe. You’ll only need to indicate the first date that you would like your overall ticket to be valid, and you will be able to visit any of the parks beginning on that date.

We plan to manage attendance at Universal Epic Universe to ensure we’re providing the best possible experience for our guests. As part of this process, ticket inventory and capacity will be controlled to allow each guest who purchases an Epic Universe-inclusive ticket to visit the park for one day during the course of the validity window of their ticket.

Will Express Passes be available?

Yep! Also from Universal:

Express Passes for Universal Epic Universe will be launched at a later date before the park opens. More details will be announced closer to the launch of these products.

What about Early Entry?

Early Entry will be available on select attractions for Universal hotel guests. Score!
