Epic Events: Universal Orlando’s 2025 Lineup

Universal Orlando Resort is prepping for a very big 2025. We’re all excited about Epic Universe opening on May 22, but plenty more is coming to the parks this year. Like the new Volcano Bay Nights. Let’s run down the list.

Universal Orlando theme park events

• Rock the Universe: January 24-25
  Rock the Universe is Universal Studio’s Christian music festival. This separately ticketed event allows guests to “enjoy live music, worship experiences, and thrilling rides at this event that Christian music fans have looked forward to for over 25 years.”
• Universal Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval: February 1 – March 30
  Mardi Gras at Universal is all about beignets, beads, and concerts.
• Butterbeer Season: March 1 – May 31
  We don’t need a reason to imbibe the best theme park beverage, but we have one.
• Grad Bash: April 4, 5, 11, & 25
  This one isn’t on my radar, but I hope the high school grads have a great time!
• Universal Volcano Bay Nights: April 19, 26, May 3, 10, & 17
  Want to experience a beautifully lit Krakatau and enjoy low wait times? This is the paid event for you! Tickets will go on sale soon.
• Gradventure: May 2, 9, 16, & 17
  Another graduation bash that I’ll be missing, this one for middle school grads. I would’ve loved going to this in the last century.
• Epic Universe: May 22
  We can’t wait to rope drop How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk. And everything else.
• Passholder Appreciation Days: August 15 – September 30
  UOAP Appreciation Days are Universal’s “way of returning the love to our favorite people.”
• Passholder Appreciation Nights: August 15 – August 16
  Want the parks to yourselves? This is a great way to do it.
• Halloween Horror Nights: select nights from August 29 to November 2
  I’ve never been. I’m just not a Halloween guy. But people keep telling me to get over it. One of these days.
• Holidays at Universal Orlando: November 21 – December 31
  I have been to the Holidays at Universal Orlando. And I loved it. So good.
