Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge Pool to Include Lazy River, Bay Lake Views
Lakeshore Lodge, Disney Vacation Club’s newest resort, will feature a “standout” pool with a lazy river, zero-entry access, water slides, and a splash pad. That’s according to a report by WDWMAGIC. The pool will be located behind the main building, offering guests views of Bay Lake as they swim. Guests wanting a more laid-back vibe can opt to swim in the leisure pool, also situated on the lake.
Lakeshore’s pool should make this a destination resort, much like Stormalong Bay draws guests to Disney’s Yacht and Beach Clubs. Stormalong Bay is the only other pool at a Walt Disney Resort that features a lazy river.

The new resort is being built on the site originally planned for Reflections—A Disney Lakeside Lodge. That 900-room DVC project was canceled during the 2020 pandemic, but only after crews had completed foundation work. Its replacement is expected to have a 12-story tower, which will alter the sightlines for neighboring Fort Wilderness guests.
Lakeshore Lodge is expected to open in 2027.
