Disneyland’s Star Wars Nite Is Back With More Dates in 2024

Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite is back in 2024 with double the events from last year. Guests will also be happy to find that the registration process might be a little stressful with the introduction of “Notify Me.” Rather than being tethered to the registration screen, guests will be notified digitally once it’s their turn to purchase tickets.

2024 Star Wars Nite dates

Star Wars Nite will be held on April 16, 18, 23, 25, 30, and May 2, 7, and 9 at Disneyland. This is a specially-ticketed event. Magic Key holders will have the first two opportunities to purchase from a select amount of pre-sale tickets:

  • Inspire Magic Key holders: February 20, 2024
  • All Magic Key holders: February 21 and 22, 2024
  • General public: February 23, 2024

Each day’s ticket window will open no earlier than 9 AM Pacific time.

Disney chefs have created 20 new treats for this year’s events, including:

  • Street-style Elote Burger at Hungry Bear Restaurant
  • Pork Belly Sisig-inspired Loaded Fries at Red Rose Taverne
  • Pineapple and Ube Crescent Sundae at The Tropical Hideaway
  • Chocolate Funnel Cake at Stage Door Café
  • Crab Fritters at Royal Street Veranda

Specialty menu items will also be available at Cafe Orleans. Reservations will be available soon.

There’s going to be so much room for activities! Here’s what Disney has to say about everything happening at this party:

  • Guests in Star Wars-themed costumes are invited to participate in a special cavalcade, where they will join Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in a march down Main Street, U.S.A., culminating in a group photo in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, illuminated with galactic projections.
  • Bring your lightsaber and learn how to handle it with skill, concentration, and a clear mind with a quick stop at the Star Wars Nite Lightsaber Instructional at “it’s a small world” mall. Here, you will be introduced to all-new maneuvers specially crafted for this year’s recruits. All members of the Light Side and/or Dark Side are welcome.
  • Dance along at the Galactic Dance Party with a Master DJ on Main Street, U.S.A.
  • Bring your lightsabers and gather at the Millennium Falcon for a Resistance Show of Unity!
  • Be prepared to encounter Captain Phasma and her elite unit of Stormtroopers in Tomorrowland.
  • Immerse yourself in multiple Star Wars-themed photo opportunities, featuring some new places and faces from across the Star Wars universe!

Each event begins with a pre-party in Disneyland from 6 – 9 PM. Many fans will queue up early for some of the more popular photo ops. Paying guests will receive unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken during the event as well as a Star Wars Nite credential.

In true Disney fashion, there are plenty of rules you should be aware of, especially when it comes to Star Wars costumes. You can find the small print here.
