Disney Treasure Horn Will Play Seven Melodies
A Disney cruise isn’t official until you hear the ship’s horn blasting out those Disney tunes. I remember our first cruise, sailing away from Galveston on the Wonder while listening to the first seven notes of “When You Wish Upon a Star.” We couldn’t help but grin. That short phrase was all the Wonder’s horn was capable of, but the more modern Disney ship horns can do so much more. In fact, we just learned that the Disney Treasure horn can play seven Disney melodies.
“This week, as the Disney Treasure journeys across the Atlantic Ocean, the team tested out seven new arrangements of familiar Disney melodies in preparation for its inaugural season this December. Several of the new ship horn sounds were chosen to complement the daring tales that will be found onboard the Disney Treasure, while others capture the ship’s motif of adventure.”

Those melodies include:
- “Grim Grinning Ghosts” is a nod to the Haunted Mansion Parlor
- “Remember Me” honors the theatrical dining restaurant, Plaza de Coco
- “A Whole New World” is a tie-in to the ship’s Aladdin-themed Grand Hall
- A new holiday composition
