Disney Teases Muppets Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Music Reveal on April 16
We’re about to learn a lot more about Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets. Disney, with a little help from Animal, teased an announcement set for April 16. That’s when we’ll get the new set list for the rethemed attraction. We’d probably have it already, but Animal can’t read. Disney will also reveal the ride’s opening date.
Aerosmith officially cleared out of the G-Force Records studio back in February, making room for Kermit, Miss Piggy, and the Electric Mayhem. The retheme is already showing up outside, where the iconic upside-down Cadillac is getting a groovy makeover.
Inside, the coaster itself isn’t changing, but the preshow is. The studio scene will be completely reworked to feature Scooter and a crew of penguin audio engineers. Additional Muppet-centric touches will be found throughout the rest of the queue and ride. And after racing through L.A., we’re hoping Rock Around the Shop features some excellent Muppets merch.
